Client’s personal information data storage and use
Your privacy is of utmost importance. I am currently taking steps to become fully GDPR compliant.
Your data is kept safe and secure and there are 3 cases in which your data might bee seen/shared:
- Web developer and accountants might see some of your information, in confidence.
- If you signup to the mailing list, your data will be sent to the 3rd party software used for our marketing automation platform (see below for more information)
- If I need to share your details with a 3rd party, for example your doctor, I will always ask for your permission first
You can receive a regular updates and promotional information for yoga and Bodytalk or appointment updates through your preferred choice of communication.
For one to one clients and workshop attendees, all personal data that I collect about you is stored in a locked filing cabinet in personal file under your name. Contact details in my phone and my computer are secured with a passwords to the device.
I will hold this data for as long as deemed necessary by my insurance company. I will then shred any paper files and I will delete you from my contacts list on all my electronic devices.
View, change or request deletion of other information I hold about you
At any time, you can visit this page to request to view, update, delete your personal details or report a data breach, if you are concerned that one a has taken place.
Shop purchase information storage and use
The personal information taken at the time of purchase from the online shop, is submitted to the website with the help of a third party web-app. The information is not sent to the web-app developers. Only The Golden Light, web developers and accountants contracted by The Golden Light, will see this information. This information will not be shared with any other parties or used for any other purpose. This data be held for 7 years, a requirement for business purposes, and then deleted.
This website and its owners take a proactive approach to user privacy and ensure the necessary steps are taken to protect the privacy of its users throughout their visiting experience. This website complies to all UK national laws and requirements for user privacy.
Contact & Communication
Users contacting this website and/or its owners do so at their own discretion and provide any such personal details requested at their own risk. Your personal information is kept private and stored securely (briefly on this website, the on my personal devices) until a time it is no longer required or has no use, as detailed in the Data Protection Act 1998.
